The institute has introduced one more branch from June-2012. It has necessary for the Student, to have passed at least SSC exam with minimum marks as per the rules & regulations prescribed by admission committee. The branch has been opened with intake of 60 students.

An evergreen branch of engineering, it requires little introduction. The students of Civil Engineering acquire skills in the fields of Design, planning, Surveying, Construction and Management engineering, with advanced electives in subjects like Structure/ transport/ geotech/Environment engineering etc.

They are exposed to the real life skill sets required through workshop exercises, industrial training and project work in field where all their knowledge and skills gained are put to fruitful use. Civil Engineering has all time demand and its spectrum grows with advance in other areas of Technology.

Any physical system, be it power, communication, computer or machinery, has to manufactured, operated, monitored or manipulated by civil engineering. In fact, no industry can construct anything without its retinue of civil engineers: be it Designing, Surveying, planning, Execution, Globalization, over seas collaborations, transfer of technology etc call for high quality standards and technology up gradation at all levels in the field, where in a Civil Engineer has an important role to play.

Keeping such requirement in mind, competent and experienced faculty of our Civil Engineering department prepares the students by giving assignments, conducting test, allowing extra industrial Practice/ Testing at concern local or nearby industries.
